With a writing career spanning more than 50 years, Susan Musgrave is currently one of five shortlisted poets for the 2023 Griffin Poetry Prize. In a conversation with Q's Tom Power, she opened up about how writing her 19th book of poetry, Exculpatory Lilies, helped her deal with her grief over the deaths of her husband and daughter.
